CloudMeter is committed to protecting our users' privacy. This Privacy Policy describes the types of information we may collect, use, store, and share when you use our services, as well as your rights regarding your information and how to exercise them. This Policy is an integral part of the services you use. We encourage you to read it carefully to make informed decisions.

By continuing to use our services, you acknowledge and consent to the collection, use, storage, and sharing of your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

2. Collection of Information

We collect information based on your interaction with our services, your privacy settings, and the features you use. The information collected may include, but is not limited to: application identifiers, version, unique device identifiers, IP address, MAC address, IMEI, device model and manufacturer, operating system version, session timestamps, language and time zone settings, network status (e.g., Wi-Fi), and system data (e.g., CPU, storage, and battery usage).

We strictly distinguish between essential data (required for core functions) and optional data (for service optimization). You can choose whether to provide optional data without affecting the use of core features. You have the right to refuse to provide optional data, and such refusal will not affect your use of core 5G testing features (e.g., one-click testing, parameter display).

3. Use of Personal Data

We use the collected data to continuously improve our products and services, including developing new features and capabilities.

4. Sharing of Personal Data

CloudMeter does not engage in any form of data sharing. Under no circumstances is any user data uploaded to external servers; all data generated or used by CloudMeter is stored locally on the user's device. This means neither we (the provider of CloudMeter) nor any third parties have access to such data at any time.

5. Legal Basis

We have outlined the purposes for processing your personal data in the preceding sections. The legal bases for such processing include: (a) performance of a contract with you; (b) compliance with our legal obligations; and (c) our legitimate interests (e.g., in managing our relationship with you, ensuring service security, and communicating about our services).

6. Information Security

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy or as required by law. We implement a variety of security technologies and procedures to prevent loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, or alteration. While we employ measures such as encryption of data in transit (SSL/TLS) and at rest (AES-256), please be aware that no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. Factors outside of our control may affect the security of systems and networks you use to access our services. Essential data and optional data will be retained for 1 month, after which they will be automatically deleted, or you can delete them at any time.

7. Rights

Under applicable law, you have the right to object to or request restriction of the processing of your personal data, and the rights of access, rectification, erasure, and data portability. Where processing is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw it at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

Please notify us of any changes to or inaccuracies in your information to ensure our records are up-to-date. If you believe our processing of your personal data violates applicable law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

8. Children’s Privacy

This App is not intended for users under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we discover that we have collected personal data from a child under 13, we will immediately delete the data and terminate access. Parents or guardians may contact us at privacy@unibests.com to request deletion.

9. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Such changes will form part of this Policy. If the updates materially reduce your rights (e.g., expanding the scope of data collection), we will notify you of any material changes to this Privacy Policy through the following ways: a prominent in-app pop-up notification, and/or a notice published on our official website privacy page (official privacy page link). We will provide the notice at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of our services after such notification constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
